The SecureGate app by NPG TechnoLabs (“we”, “the app”) is a housing-society tool that runs on your phone. The operator is NPG TechnoLabs Pvt Ltd. The company name is approved by MCA. Incorporation in India is in progress.
Data we store on the device
Society name, towers, flats, residents, staff records, visitors, complaints, notices, maintenance bills, documents you add, login accounts, and an activity log of key actions may be stored on this device. A backup file can also be saved on this phone or shared by you.
Optional cloud sync (when enabled)
If the society uses our optional backend, phone or email, name, role, society id, and a session token are processed on our servers so you can sign in and so Super Admin can approve society registrations. Selected society data may also sync across phones, including structure, residents, maintenance bills, notices, parking, visitors, complaints, and activity log entries. We do not sell personal data. Maintenance UPI payments stay with the society’s own UPI id, not ours.
Optional push notifications
When push notifications are enabled on your phone, a device token may be stored so we can send alerts such as a visitor waiting for approval. You can turn notification permission off in Android settings.
What we do not do by default
Without the optional backend, the app is built to work without internet and we do not collect society private records into a central cloud. We do not sell personal data. Photos you add for residents, complaints, or documents generally stay on the device and are not the primary cloud sync payload.
Permissions
The camera and photo library are used only when you choose a photo for a resident, staff member, complaint, document, or promo. Files you share (PDF, Excel, backup) leave the app through the share sheet you pick.
Accounts
Demo accounts appear only in test builds. Production Super Admin access is issued through the backend, not hard-coded into the app store build.
Backups
A backup is a file on the phone. If you share it, anyone who receives that file can read the society data in it. Keep backups private.
Your choices
You can restore, replace, or delete app data by clearing the app storage in Android settings, or by restoring a backup you control. For cloud accounts, contact us to lock or reset access.
